Vladimir Cherny on Available IT Technologies for NGOs

On September 28, 2018, Vladimir Cherny, the founder of IT company Appomart, conducted a two-hour seminar-training on 'Available IT Technologies for the Non-Profit Sector' at a local community forum in Tikhvin. Local community forums serve as open business platforms for interaction between active citizens, charitable foundations, NGOs, journalists, and initiative groups to address common issues.

The training aimed to empower NGO leaders with theoretical and practical knowledge to independently create a website that aligns with modern design and usability trends. It also focused on teaching them how to work with contractors, including volunteers, to implement their ideas. The theoretical part covered topics such as identifying the target audience of a website, reflecting brand ideas and packaging them effectively, color psychology, defining positioning, and creating a logo independently.

In the second part of the training, through discussions, participants received practical recommendations on their non-profit brand's website and the possibilities of implementing available IT technologies.
