Vladimir Chernyi Becomes IEEE Senior Member — What This Means for Our Team and Clients

In the technology world, there are many titles and certifications, but there are statuses that cannot be bought with money or obtained through formal checklists. One of them is IEEE Senior Member. In December 2024, our director Vladimir Chernyi joined this community, and now that the actual award has finally arrived, we can finally admire this well-deserved recognition in person.

IEEE is the world's largest engineering organization. It oversees standards for the internet, mobile communications, microprocessors, networks, and artificial intelligence. Membership here is not a formality, but a sign of experience and trust from colleagues worldwide.

Senior Member — A Special Level of Recognition

Senior Member is a special membership level. It is awarded only to engineers with 10+ years of experience, significant achievements, and recommendations from Senior colleagues. This shows that the engineer's expertise is recognized by the international professional community.

To understand how prestigious this is, it's enough to recall some famous IEEE members:

• Vint Cerf — one of the "fathers of the internet," helped create the protocols that today power the entire global internet.
• Gordon Moore — co-founder of Intel and author of "Moore's Law," which for decades determined how fast computers develop.
• Martin Cooper — the engineer who made the first call from a mobile phone, thanks to whom we use mobile communication today.
• Robert Metcalfe — creator of Ethernet, the technology that underlies all networks we use at home and in the office.

Now Vladimir Chernyi has joined the ranks of engineers who have made a significant contribution to the technological world. Out of more than 850,000 IEEE members, only the TOP 8% are awarded this recognition!
